Pre-clinical and basic research
Dr. Kenneth A. Iczkowski is Professor of Pathology and Urology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He received an M.D. in 1992 from St. Louis University and completed residencies and fellowships at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, University of Kansas, and Mayo Clinic-Rochester. He has more than 180 publications, mostly on urological cancer, especially prostate cancer. He previously headed a basic science laboratory studying cell adhesion and CD44 in prostate cancer. Current interests include grading criteria, prostate cancer growth patterns, pro-inflammatory markers in prostate cancer, and automatic grading of prostate cancer in digitized histopathology images. Dr. Iczkowski is the current President-Elect of the International Society Of Urological Pathology.
