In addition, examining the changes in individual bands (under non-reducing conditions) showed that substance P treatment caused a significant decrease in the 170-kDa band in bladder homogenates, while changes in other bands did not reach statistical significance (B). SP treatment also increased the total amount of A1-I3 in the bladder, presumably due to plasma extravasation (C).
