Bar chart showing the Pain Scores (VAS) at baseline, during the Ice Water test (IWT), filling to 100 ml with saline at room temperature, and filling to bladder capacity during routine urodynamics, in PBS patients (n = 17). Significantly higher pain scores were observed during ice water instillation compared to the baseline (P = 0.0002**) or equivalent amount of bladder filling (100 mls) with saline at room temperature (P = 0.015*), and were similar to pain scores on filling to bladder capacity.
