Representative photomicrographs of bladder inflammation in mice treated intravesically with 200 μl of pyrogen-free saline (1A), LPS (100 μg/ml; 1B, 1C, 1D, and 1E), or SP (10 μM; 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, and 2F). The urinary bladders were removed 24 hours after bladder instillation and processed for histological stains: H&E (1 A-E and 2A-D) and Giemsa (2E and 2F), (n = 6).
