Table 1 Inclusion and exclusion criteria

• Men older than 40

• Mild symptoms (IPSS <8)

• Patient must be a candidate for TUV-P

• Urethral stenosis

• Refractory to medical therapy or patient is not willing to consider further medical treatment

• Bladder diverticulum (>100 ml)

• Former alcoholic or chronic liver

• Written informed consent
