  2. The duration of catheterization and postoperative hospitalization showed statistical differences. The estimated residual prostate volume (V2) was calculated as the volume of the entire gland using prolate elliptical formula (height × width × length × π/6) minus the central defect (also calculated using the prolate elliptical formula). The estimated residual prostate volume ratio was calculated as V2/V1.
