  1. PTX decreases viability, alone or in combination with DTX, in PC3 cells after 24, 48, and 72 h of treatment. A total of 3 × 104 PC3 cells were seeded and were initially treated (24 h prior) with different concentrations of PTX and DTX, alone or combined. Later, cell viability was evaluated by WST-1 assays. The results represent the mean ± SD of the values obtained of three experiments carried out in triplicate. Untreated control cells were considered as 100%. + Mann‒Whitney U test, p < 0.05 versus DTX-treated groups
