The effect of metformin on the migration of T24 and 5637 cell lines. The effect of different concentrations of metformin on the migration ability of T24 (A) and 5637 (B) cell lines was observed for 0–48 h (magnification, 10–20 ×). The results are shown as the mean ± the standard deviation (SD) from three independent experiments and were compared with the values for the blank control (*P < 0.05, **P < 0.01) (Original wound healing assay are presented in Additional file 1: Figure 1A B)
