Changes in anteroposterior diameter (APD) during pre- and post-operative periods.  The preoperative APD in the DJ group was smaller than that in the EUP group (2.80 [2.20;3.60] vs. 3.40 [2.50;4.40] cm, = 0.003). During follow-up, we found significant differences at three months postoperatively, of which APD in the EUP group is larger than that in the DJ group (2.20 [1.50;2.88] vs. 3.50 [3.02;4.58]cm, = 0.027). The difference vanished at six months, 12 months and 24 months after surgery (P > 0.05).
