MIF and A1-I3 expression in the bladder and the liver. MIF and A1-I3 mRNA were amplified by RT-PCR. Resulting PCR products were resolved on 2% agarose gels. A single MIF band was detected in both the bladder (B) and liver (L). A1-I3 message was detected only in the liver (L), but not in the bladder (B). GAPDH RT-PCR documented similar amounts of total RNA were extracted and amplified in both bladder (B) and liver (L).
