Male rats were injected intraprostatically with either lipopolysaccharide (LPS; (L10 and L14; 100 µg * kg−1) or saline (Control; 100 µL). After 10 (L10, Control) or 14 (L14) days the rats were placed in a metabolic cage for 16 h. Subsequently, cystometry was performed. This was followed by histopathological analysis of bladder and prostate tissues
