From: Perineal ultrasound to assess the urethral spatial movement in stress urinary incontinence in women
The urethra image was measured by perineal ultrasound image in the mid-sagittal plane at rest (left) and on Valsalva (right). The urethra is divided into three segments, defined by four points from the bladder neck (point A) to the external meatus (point D). The inferoposterior margin of the symphysis pubis serves as reference. The motion of Point A is shown as an example.
